While spending time with a friend the other afternoon, I got one of his infamous little beauty-routine insights. “I’m just gonna do my ice cube facial and then I’ll figure out what to wear,” he casually said — wait, ice cube facial? Please, fill me in I pleaded. It seemed like pure logic and I wondered why I hadn’t heard of it sooner — running an ice cube all over your face before applying makeup helps tighten up your pores! Obviously, the effects are only temporary, but hey, if it makes applying makeup that much smoother…why not? Added bonus: healthy, rosy little glow on your cheeks post facial, too.
